Alone in my Cocoon...

Another thoughtful write, hope you don't mind, I love to make you laugh, but sometimes I just love to write as is the following...just let it flow...

Alone in my Cocoon…

Alone I sit, in my cocoon of life,

To avoid, to hide from the strife,

No one to talk to, no one to listen,

Except Rufuz; he says little,

But understands much more than credit given…

No one to bounce off ideas,

No one to tell me I suck or not,

No one to be abusive to me,

No one to remind me I need a shower,

No one to tell me they love me,

No one to show me his or her power…

Alone for me is to give me rise to write,

I write so much better when alone I be,

So as stated above, here I sit alone,

In my strife to write about life & my little home,

Where we live for now, till someday we can, again, roam…

Do you really like being lonely. It's a lonely life being with noone, it seems something should be done sooner or later though, what i don't know.

I think it is important that as writers we share all sides of our writing ability. It is good to laugh but it is also important to share all of what makes us unique. Thanks for the sharing. Cacoon's are fine, but we all need human contact :-)

Well done, Ed. Great write. I know the feeling well. It even extends to spending time in the woods alone. That's fine for a while, but eventually I get lonely and must emerge from my "cocoon."
Best regards,
Leland

Ed sometimes I love the cocoon...I love to be alone...
and I cannot write or paint if anyone is in the room...
I must lock the door and be alone...I always wondered
if that was wierd....but.....there are many times that
I truly need the company of another person or persons..
so I guess being in a cocoon for creative reasons and
just thinking or reading is great...but you have got to
come out once in awhile and I am sure Rufuz takes care of
that part...LOL...floria
