I am, so are you,

So is our world too,

We live to live happy,

We live to live well,

But with our governments,

We can never really tell…

What do they come to us to sell?

A way for us to have more money,

A way for us to have more time,

I am here to say they are a bunch of slime,

Let us not allow ourselves to be taken so sublime,

Let us fight back and tell those in power,

We are here to stay, we love our life of rhyme…

Fuel prices are again on the rise,

We ask the question as to why,

All we get in response are lies,

So why do we ask in the first?

We are all just government flies,

Swatted away with a swatter,

Each and every election it gets hotter,

Our need to know just put off till later…

We are just here to get screwed,

Maybe to you that is just lewd,

But I am here to tell you,

We are better off doing ludes…
