Fair is the maiden and gallant was her lover 

 But the wound was so heavy

   That he grew but so weary 

 He left all so early to set before time 

    Beautiful was the world 

She created for her love

  Each day so he dearly cared  to enjoy the splendor of his life 

But now he sleeps  peacefully quiet in the abode of the God

   Having lived a life truly with all that he could share

Walked the path this far, been always there to care

   A priceless gift on earth he surely was  to all

Alas pretty maiden  Why do you mourn? 

   His love it is that falls from heaven like dew! 

 Tender and  so true it alights at your window 

     So  long may you enjoy everything you do. 

For though you feel he still lies in the canopy you laid him down

   In a chariot of flowers  his soul ascended up above 

 To the judgment seat of God 

    His innocent smile and loving heart 

 The  Almighty loved him so. 

  Be happy for he is with angels

 With them he lavishly lives  

  Till you meet once again in heaven

    Never to part again.
