Women's Equality Day falls on 26th July. The topic opens up a debate for many. It is an age old matter. Past, present and future. Different nations with different laws to which you cant even react. Women dont have the right to purchase property in their names in certain places and countless other issues.

For a suckling child, a mother

She lets him drain her

For a sensualist, a play thing

She lets him play her

 Each time we respect

And be kind to a woman

Mankind perfects itself

Every time she rises free

From shackles and chains

Mankind perfects itself

She would care with more affection

When she loves herself more

To be the obedient   daughter

Loving sister, faithful  wife ever so

If a woman loves herself more...the whole world will follow because the world tends to follow a leader by example. Good works come from the love one holds for themselves not allowing others to disrespect them for being man, woman or child...we are all children of the same Creator. Well done J.K.

In the Whirlwind by Tichaona Chinyelu

In the Whirlwind is a poetic storm that frees history from the cages of corruption and puts it in the hands of everyday people. Words are weaved into a new fashion statement that has nothing to do with runways but everything to do with projects!
