Rhyming pattern of a limerick ( AABBA)
Sparrows once got hold the whole place on a tree
A pomegranate bush with fruits a dozen into three
When the sun ready's to set
It would all come to nest
So pleasant to see! all twittering free
Laila, the sister, feeds birds with care
Each fine day,to give grains and water of their share
Shaeber, her greyhound looks on with pride
As little birds hop, and kids back from school stride
He soon retreats with a wild look into his liar
Kids pluck fruit of the guava tree, sweet to taste
scaring monkeys who climb in haste
But it took its time to go away
Throwing raw fruits on the way
The gardener shook his head for the sorry state
A storm came with fury and soon Tom’s back was sore
Picking raw mangoes, two hundred, fifty and more
It was just for a minute, but branch of bitter neem tree
It fell breaking free
On a plaster Tom got the day before
Entangled in tree, live wires were on the road
It was a task to coax wiremen who never keep their word
Power was back in place
Before we got a chance to chase the case
For the government guys love to sip their drinks and live like lords.
o To the graveyard my visit, on a day sublime
Graves of my mother, father, grandparents all in line
The place so serene, their loss, I try to cope
The offer from them was much love and hope
happy to be their first born,Roseline
Love ya!
