The real endangered species is mankind

Who's roamed the Earth since the beginning of time

The human population continues on its destructive path

The fight for survival we take not seriously, but only with a laugh

Outrageous human behavior is rooted in disregard for all but our own

We've broken lots of nature's laws from sunup to sundown

Someone must understand that tis has got to change

We must re-establish a friendship with Mother Nature, so life on Earth will remain

We dream of a land untouched by any hand save that of our Maker

Most of us never give back, we're always in the role of the taker

Th air that was once so clean, the land once towered of trees

This was the unchanging, uncorrupted Eden, the seat of tribal memory

Over a thousand generations began on this land at birth

By any account, we've had our way with this land we call Earth
