Feelings so often beset me

And leave me twisted inside.

They can be of disappointment

Or in loss I can't recover.

But none the less they are there

And I don't let them upset me.

For tomorrow will change the setting

And my mind will have to adopt.

We are creatures that sometimes dwell

Too much on what can't be changed.

But with the rising sun each day

A new adventure awaits me.

Feelings, thoughts, insights are something we all face each day. The only thing is, how do we handle them?

However a lovely positive outlook

Well done

George, when something is troubling me, I find it much better to forget than to fret. Of course, you never really forget, but in most cases I seem to have the ability to move it to the side and just not think about it until eventually it becomes less bothersome. I think the trick is to occupy your mind with something else. Dick

Took me many decades to figure out exactly that, George. I am a happier man for it.
