That's the spirit. While insurance companies spread the risk, they profit too. But when friends get together and chip in, with a few bucks and I hand or two, things get done without favors being asked. With the Internet and the ability to collect donations quickly, we are on the verge of charity like we've never seen it before, specifically targeted to problems all over the world, improving life and changing lives.
