Holding the hand of fate

That is my constant companion.

Never knowing where it will lead me

But knowing I'm aware of all.

I can take the wrong roads

And find myself in a jam.

Knowing how to get out of them

Is all part of my plan.

I look not for danger ahead.

Only a fool would dare to thread.

Fool that I am at times

I dare not dangle on inclines.

I have walked up on high places,

See for miles around.

But I will not venture to the cliff,

As I fear falling to the ground.

Life can be an adventure

If you are inclined to dare.

Would that I would venture

A perilous journey without a care.

Your poem is about seeking safely, knowing your limitations. It is a wise path that few travel. May fate be always with you.

Life in itself is a great mystery
We must walk the path each and everyone
of us they way we choose and that which is
comfortable for ourselves...

Good write
