Fallen are my thoughts,
That never saw light of day.
Never gave me inspiration,
That I would let them have their say.
That is the way of the poet,
Who must screen what he says.
Many times he hides the meanings
Within the shell of words, a maze.
Some astute readers
Can pick his words apart.
They can see a meaning
That others lose at the start.
Nothing clever or a put down-
Every person may see it differently.
That is why it is so important
To let your feelings be expressed freely.
