As each year passes.

Are born incognito.

Players still are the same.

Just know how to deal,

And pocket all the aces.

Faces are always different.

Yet the cards are always dealt

With an ace in the hole.

You may see the cards

But not how they change.

Suddenly your hand is raised,

Though you hold four aces.

Seems like a sure thing,

Until the cards show their faces.
