 There are times we are tempted

To lash back at a snide remark.

Better to hold your tongue

Than to get into an argument.

 

We have to be tolerant

Of those around us,

As they don't always

Agree with what we say.

 

Yes we do make mistakes.

And most times we are aware of it.

Thank God, for He is merciful

And forgives us when we repent.
