Anger

 If we be of thin skin,

We should not tally forth.

Words can pierce like a knife,

Yet none of your blood will show.

 

You are left with anger.

O how can I get even?

Your smile turns to a scowl,

Eveil now shares your grin.

 

Let us not light a torch

That can burn all around.

Anger has no excuses,

But can be remembered long.

It doesn't help one to be angry or concealing their anger inside of them at someone. I can be angry at someone, or something, but when I turned away, my anger would be left behind. I think everyone needs to be this way.
