Look both ways before crossing the streets to heaven
Weep you know of the cold wind and the wild that grows Wasted Sundays in church all alone Want of heaven too early on in life Martyr well seen in pearly gates Hells place already claimed
Graves sing in the night Angel of mercy caught in the fight
Last of the knights from long ago pure of spirit and soul Lady waits for his heart
Served on a platter with his head Silver a trivial pursuit of life lived against law Want of better left in a field truth is the gift not sealed Wax from a candle melts to the form all the words come out wrong
Desire flees Walk with ghosts in the forest of trees Dark is the vision seen From all of life death is weaned
Weep you know of the cold wind and the wild that grows Wasted Sundays in church all alone Want of heaven too early on in life Martyr well seen in pearly gates Hells place already claimed
