Debra, (Debra is a gifted poet who writes at prose-n-poetry) I wrote this poem for you, the greatest young poet I know. It talks to the soul of liberty, it questions life challenges, and finally it searches for the truth of good or evil. May we all find the hope of a child the fortitude of a young adult, and wisdom of the aged.

They stopped in heat of day
a word or two
that to say
as good and evil
did play upon the sand

A question mark
About some oil
a hot burning soil
a dictator to hang

Wind blows strong
protests going home
a country stand alone
what good did it do

Freedom the word
spoke here
still there is fear
most want to go home

Christmas in the wind
thorns burn the last of sin
Beliefs fall in pools
the decorated tree

Stuff the pig
upon the stake
kill before its to late
least we let him free

Evil laughs again
the game is on my friend
I still have a chance to win
what will you do

The good in every heart
looks both north and south
they know which he talks about
for hell waits for no man

Demons dance on the flame
who or what is the blame
is he insane
does anybody know

Hot and sticky day
dug from a hole
some say
should have left him there

A thought perhaps a marker
above the hole for air
death would not be quick
would anyone care

Good wins
lets him off
ag'in
I wonder about his sons
does a tree grow from seed
or just another weed

I heard a song
the verse speaks
of right and wrong
another people
go along

The tribe moves on
feel the tire
in their eyes
as a child cries

Was it faith or hope
that dies
it can not be sin
evil was lost in the sand

They said he a marked man
the answer to prayer
wonder where the mirror is
light by doctor hand

Burning oil
upon the sand
gold and greed
go hand in hand

Be it God
or man
they all walk the same
water or sand

I take the good
when I can
I dance to no band
I live to love again

My window is new
a bible is a tool
a koran a wonder
true

words are left by
those before
still it is me
that opens the door

Greeks had it right
when sleeps comes tonight
only one God
will rule

Jesters on the throne
I the owner of my soul
now who is
the fool

Liquid gold burns the air
may peace ease you dreams
future hide decades of
torture's screams

Demons dance upon the flame
still a child finds hope
Love knows no time
they take what they can get
