Food and such often take us a way from
love.

Wind and snow fall soft and slow
My eyes are open wide
A loving touch, too much
I wish you did not have to go

Streets alive as plows cried
Such an eerie sound
Night leads to morning light
Most is true and tried

Kids and bears come down stairs
My heart leaps with pride
Angels of snow do you have to go
Your smile tells me that you lied

Snowman and broom kids break winter’s gloom
Now, we have a snowball fight
Watch you drive away wish you could stay
To play with us in the snow

I pray this day
Each minute will last
Kiss and talk winter walk
Still you went a way
