American Tornado

Since I am now living most of my days in the American south, I had to write about tornados.

 

Across windswept plains, the tornado makes it way,

 A toddler at play, using our homes and cars for its toys and games,

Our street signs for its fun today. 

What will remain when it finally sleeps and we are left to weep?

Very descriptive with few words! Never been in a tornado but storms and hurricanes abound here in Florida.

It's truly amazing the fury nature can unleash. I live in N.E. Ohio, and have witnessed the destruction of tornadoes that have hit our area. In a matter of seconds they can completely change the landscape. I have never actually seen one, but would love to be observe a tornado, but at a safe distance of course.
