His Chosen One
I'll bet you went to sleep tonight
and set your clock on snooze,
knowing come the morning light
you'll be fighting a battle
you may ultimately lose.
We are ordinary people
a part of the human race,
struggling to survive,
no matter the heart break
we face.
So let us take a moment
and count our blessings today,
things we take for granted
are symbols of love God has
placed in our way.
Though you may not realize
there are angels watching you,
someone understands all the
trials that you've been through.
Like foot prints in the sand
every step in life you take,
someone walks beside you,
you're never alone in the milestones
you face.
Everything happens for reasons
we may never understand
but rest assured there's someone
there, holding our future in the palm of his hands,
We only have today, so make it your
very best,
forget about tomorrow
God's plan is something
you can't second guess.
Live this life and love cause
when all is said and done,
you were sent here for a reason
God's precious child
his chosen one,
