Another poem I wrote when my children were little.
Buddy The Brown Dachshund Buddy the brown Dachshund was a chunky little pup, every time you'd drop a crumb he'd gobble it right up. When we'd eat our dinner he'd always sit pretty and beg, balancing on his pointy tail hoping for a piece of chicken leg. Cause poultry was his favorite of all the different meats, an M&M for desert was often his evening treat. Day after day night after night he'd snack and snack and snack, till his tummy dragged the ground because he got so very fat! Written By Kathy J Parenteau Copyright © 2000 All Rights Reserved

A great rhyme for children to hear. It's also very cute and funny. But not so funny for all those pets whose owners feed them treats and table scraps until they get obese and die from terrible conditions caused by such a poor diet.
