never empty

i went to the river
to drown my fears
light followed me
whispered coyly
i love the wooden bridge
i said, sit by my side
he did and he was
as calm as the lake
glorified of being with
the beauty of all there is
i wallowed at my pain
which should've just
took me a moment
swim he said
let the silence 
devour the sanity left
coz the water 
will fill
every empty vessel
it'll cleanse you 
from within
that heartache
you gladly carry
it cannot be
immortalized
where i exist
it will disappear
when will you
ever realize
that i am your light
i am 
the love you've forgotten
coz you have
courageously sought me
unto others
but honey,
i had always been in
the darkest corner
of your heart
you kept me there
it's okay
it is where
i shine the brightest
and i
will always, always 
be here inside you
you are
never empty after all.
