An euphoric poem about one's wish to know what awaits him in his life.
The Sphinx *Although* *I'm not travelling* *to Egypt lately* *a Sphinx keeps visiting* *my dreams repeatedly.* *It's rather nice* *that without a visa* *I meet him here* *and not in Giza.* *On the other hand* *he hasn't opened* *his mouth yet,* *and thus maybe* *I'd better meet* *the Oracle* *of Delphy,* *half his words* *I can't understand* *but I can always* *pretend* *that I'm listening,* *and I do comprehend* *his predictions* *on my fate* *© Haim Kadman April 2011 – all rights reserved.*
