A love poem, rather short but straight to the point.
An emotional bond It was not love, nor a self-inflicted infatuation. It was an emotional bond, much stronger than those ordinary definitions… A bond he could neither fathom nor was he conscious yet to its hold on his mind. © Haim Kadman any date – all rights reserved.

The difference between emotions blinding us, and emotions binding us, is stark, but indicative of our humanness. We all press on through time, make new attachments, grow old, but sometimes (speaking for myself) we hanker for the old friendships, the old loves, that once (and fleetingly) defined us.
