THE DARK FOE

Source: hiraeeeth

Night drifts closer.

Black replaces blue.

Clouds fall slowly.

A dark day for you.

Grey clouds soak the pink.

The waves hit the shore.

I know what you think.

You can’t take much more.

Truth is hard to bear.

Our town lost its glow.

Nightwalkers are here.

Lost to the dark foe.

THE DEAD GAME

Awesome piece Susanne
I have witness some disdidturbing weather visions
That brought fear into my heart, as I watched it
Accumulating before my eyes, thank you for sharing
Love and peace be with you

This one is classic horror. It starts out with a gloomy day journey turning worse as night falls.

The only thing I would change is to remove the "The" from, "The waves hit [absorb?] the shore."

The ups and downs of truth as reflected in nature as "the waves hit the shore."

Creepy and dark,
and when it comes to creepy,
you hit the mark.

Excellent description of a very spooky place filled with darkness. Your poem reminds me of one of my favorite books of all time, "This Present Darkness" by Frank Peretti. If you want to read an all-night thriller, try it sometime...
