THE ROAD TO NOWHERE

THE ROAD TO NOWHERE

Life takes us on a ride.

A path without a guide.

A ride for no reason.

A circle with no side.

A path into the jungle.

People pass along the way.

Deadly traps to trip us up.

Lurking demons held at bay.

The end leaves us with more questions.

Not to be answered along the way.

A long journey with no purpose.

No clarification on our stay.

Coincidentally, my latest poem (which I have not posted yet) is very much with the same theme as the one you have expressed through your verses, Susanne. Nicely done. Love and best wishes,

Regis

Give me a poem about a road and I will feel a piece of my soul. "A circle with no side." Love that line.

PS: My road to nowhere has a destination ? !
