I Am Not Alone
Life in a coffin is not my end,
tho my flesh will nourish the earth.
My soul and spirit has taken on a new life,
my new journey is called rebirth
You are all part of my fulfillment,
I always treasured the chance we meet.
Every ones journey starts before birth,
even if the journey is not complete
God was always my salvation,
test of faith lead me well and wise.
Let this parting be of jubilance,
God sees in you what I see in my eyes.
Let my laughter carry in the wind,
let my smile brighten your day
Wipe away those long faces,
because we are not here to stay.
I go alone tho I am not alone,
I will be with you long after I've gone.
There are many who depend on your strength,
So long pilgrim they are playing my song.
