Swan Song

Marriage and remarriage to the same woman
Even renewed our vows for the third time

 

 

 
 
 
                                                Swan Song
 
 
                                    You married first for love
                                    then the children came along
                                    You built a nest and came to rest
                                    then she played   a dreaded swan-song
 
 
                                    When a woman drops a heavy rock
                                    to leave you after many years
                                    are you guilty of why it happened
                                    now it leaves a person in tears
 
 
                                    Then you both decide to re-marry
                                    canceling out the thought of deceit
                                    To make your love   solid in time
                                    not speak again   to brow beat
