Lord Let Me Cry
Lord give me a little bit of your time
what's left of my family
is demanding of mine
For the love of my children is priceless I know
but when you are lonely there's no place to go
Lord let me cry all my tears held inside
Give me the strength to give in
the wanting feeling to live once again
My conscience is stronger than I can endure
my freedom is closer but I can't secure
The wants of the people the needs of my own
In life I am happy but something is wrong
A time to take notice that I haven't failed
the troubles I'm thinking the good will prevail
The strength that I'm asking to lead me along
making ones that I love to feel they belong
Lord give me a little bit of your time
what little I ask you will ease up my mind
For some one to trust in the faith that I know
could I place in your hands all my faith and my soul
