This poem is about a beautiful lass I know, who was feeling discarded from a relationship that had just ended. Rejected and depressed by the feeling that she had messed up on an opportunity for a good relationship, she turned to me for some words of consolation, and so I wrote, Just a Shell.

Waiting for a wave to take your lifeless body fore; Lettin’ go; an end to care? Yet a shell seems as hard as a rock Shining inside with delicate beauty splendour Will be someone's treasure; off the rack A change, a new, in the hands of a fondler You are not alone; look around at us! We are the rocks, the stones; Other shells; grains of sand innumerous! We love your colours, shades; your tones. Now wait till you see what I will be, When turned upside-down; my face to the Son. His light from above illumines me Then you’ll see how my heart is won! (Inspired by a Sea Shell and a dear troubled Lass)

So sad, so true, life must begin again, when - in the future. I like this poem very much, tells the truth about breaking up too.
