Seeds of Thought

Don't know what I was thinking when I wrote this?

 Seeds of Thought

Can I think of a thought
that's never been thunk
or words in such order
that's never been sought

Words are just letters
all strung together
for a point, a meaning
of each one's scheming

What are these thoughts
into words we comprise
are they each his own
or from others' derived

If nothing can truly be created or destroyed
and something can only be changed in form
even this law when finally formed
has been all along, way before

If thoughts that come
are not my own
from whence do they come
were they planted and sown

Thoughts are like seeds
fertile in the ground
they grow and mature
to a garden of sounds

What are these thoughts
these words we make
surely they must do
more than communicate

Why are these thoughts
and words we've selected
often written and spoken
to cause dereliction

Some words are loving, sharing and caring
some give comfort to pain one is baring
others yield thorns, thistles and hurt
to cause pain, inflame, ready to lurch

From neurons firing by sparks in our brain
come marvels, inventions, most wondrous of things
but then comes the evil, most dreadul for sure
right along side, to cancel the pure

Now zillions and zillions of words have been slung
around the world, in so many tongues
though thoughts and words might never be new
just think if thoughts were only construe d

to think the thoughts of things that are pure

Our minds help us to think , feel , create , ect ect. What one lives, see's affects them in various ways. Some times the power of suggestion can make a difference. There are a lot of variables involved. Much more can be said! This is a THINKING write....M

The tapestry of our minds are created by the thoughts we thunk...

These pictures in our minds create the stories, poems, and words to help, heal, and nurture our future to do good and defeat evil.

Enjoyed this menagerie of meaningful words!
Blessings to you

That's why I like clichés. It's rather hard to come up with original expression that conveys the same kind of common meaning that many clichés do. However, experts will tell you not to use clichés in our writing. But, most of us can't be "original" thinkers like those who came up with those wonderful expressions, either by thought, or by accident.

As you can see, your poem made me think. I like that.
