In The Silence Of The Dawn

in the silence of the dawn
where time it seems does stand alone
the earth with heaven sky above
each other merge in nature's love

a creation as it's told some say
that God did speak the word that day
"let expanse be between the two"
to make for rain and morning dew

my soul is torn is anquish now
how can such beauty come to be
by chance perhaps did come about
or was it made for eyes to see

some would say to faith ascribe
is simple, silly, ignorant mind
but if by chance it came to be
is that too not faith, that to believe

in the silence of the dawn
thus that dilema some think upon
is the dawn by some intent
or is it quite by accident

now when each new morn of day does spawn
where time it seems does stand alone
I quibble not for an answer known
simply bask in silence of the dawn
