Joined At The Hip

JOINED AT THE HIP


There are those to whom
we are joined at the hip:

For some, our hips are
the softly melded fusions,
the gently swaddling tissues
of hearts and minds.

For others, our hips become
tied ankles
and we limp together
three-legged:
stalling, stumbling
along life's way
with a jagged, jarring gait...


But it takes two to tango -
And hips take their lead
from lips, I think!

So that is what is wrong with my hip and like George Caroll about having hip replacement nah. But his lips do work fine.

That was so until it got so bad that I had my hip replaced. The lips are still working fine. LOL

Fascinating topic, Kate. The joining truly can be a joy or a drag. And interestingly enough, Hippos kiss each other a lot. Bet you didn't know that!
