Borneo wild-girl screams
through my vascular jungles

My starving fat-girl
seeps skinny
through deodorised pores,
belching her disapproval behind

my push has been shoved

Manic Monday is just ahead and then there's Ruby Tuesday, Kate! I love this side of you, the Goddess Tiamat of ancient Sumer, transformed into a breeder of dragons! Fighting the dragon of chaos, the goddess Nuanet in her watery abyss. Virtue of the slaughter of dragons, pitting gods of light and sky against reptilian monsters. Tiamat mothered a new breed of snarling dragons. Keep on breathing fire, Kate! Open the drawbridge, we're at the moat, coming to join you. Have the peace pipe lit and the grapes fermented into libation!
I liked this satirical exploration and extrapolation of life...especially when I try to see the images in the cold light of night with the PAC theory...lol!
This may be tongue in cheek as you say but the images are wonderful and I can see that cocky little grin of yours smiling through, I don't think you would know how to stay angry. Great write and Sundays can be a bitch.
I love it, I love it! I am glad to know I'm not the only one. That there is a woman across the pond who has her "moments." That, "Have a nice day" thing has just gone too far! How about, "I hope a tree doesn't fall on your house today" and then a very sweet smile.
Dear Partner in Slime: I hate that expression - with no sincerety in it at all. I'm beginning to growl at those who's boss tells them to utter, 'er ah, mutter, it to customers and clients. We're singing the same song with your Academy Award clever line, "my push has become shove" Damn... that one IS GOOD.

We all have a bit of madness within us, Kate, perhaps Sunday is the day you decide to "let 'er roll!!" All your words remind me so much of myself as I was going through menopause and wondered on a daily basis "just who was that woman in the mirror and what was she up to today??" I never saw my diverse personalities as I did during that time. PMS...HA!! that was merely training wheels for menopause. Now take a deep breath and suck in the calm...maybe a soothing cup of tea or a little walk or yoga workout??? Something to smooth the rough edges of your day? Fun write, Kate, it is good to see that you are normal lady and not always "Stepford" nice. Hugs and blessings on you!
