Hi Tom ! I just came across your comment by chance. That's the question, WHY? There's no way any HU-MAN/WOMAN can tell, but "WE" are good at justifying the CREATION since WE have brains. Like the BUDDHA did: LIFE on earth is full of suffering, so he devised the "WHY" - the FOUR NOBLE TRUTHS and the EIGHT-FOLD PATH leading to its extinction, but then there's no fun in living... He himself a Prince left a dutiful princess of a wife and son and donned beggars' garments to die of trichinosis having eaten a pork dish prepared by his followers. Worst still, his followers made a God of him centuries after his passing and reduced his teachings (mainly reforming Hinduist ideals and aims) - all to no avail in the end. Best to Madame as well. TW
