Sitting back and then looking up
At the drifting clouds up ahead
Awakens me to all the wonders
Set within my Alaskan homestead

I feel the suns touch as it floats
Across the distant sky almost blinding
To my naked eye, fumbling for my
Sunglasses inside my camera case

I catch movement close behind me
As a moose wanders through with grace
Listening ever closer I hear the
Sweet singing songs of many birds

Such a wondrous chorus I feel
I have just by chance over heard
Glasses set in place upon my face now
I sit back and look again around

Much more aware to the beauty
All around, colors seem to dance
Across the afternoon sky
Touching my heart and soul

Making my body seem to sigh
As I sit back looking up at the
Clouds up ahead awakening me to all
The wonders within my
