Written in memory of my beloved grandmother, Merle Close-Stephens who passed away on May 24, 2005. The photograph was taken of she and I in December of 2004, in Muncie, IN. It was our last time together.
I don't know how I missed this, Michelle, but somehow I did. This is an absolutely beautiful, open and honest tribute to your Grandmother. I am so sorry for your loss, and so happy for you to have been blessed by her presence in your life for so many years. May her rest be peaceful and may your heart be strong until that time when you return to your eternal home and walk beside her again.
Take care,
Sherry
Dearest Michelle,
I've missed your work friend. This is such a tender tribute to a special person and it touched me deeply. I had an extremely close relationship with my paternal grandmother and miss her terribly. Each word you wrote reached into my inner core.
Thank you for sharing this beautiful work of art.

Dear Michelle, what a beautiful tribute that goes right to the heart. I am deeply sorry that you have lost someone so dear to you. You are a born writer to be able to create fine poetry out of sadness.

Ah, Michelle, my heart goes out to you... We never get used to losing our loved ones; we merely learn how to live with the loss. Dwell on the time she was allowed to be with you. {{{Michelle}}}}
This is a sweet tribute but I know that like myself the real tribute will be in the act of being a grandmother youself and not only imitating but expounding on the loving principles and examples they set for us.
Michelle My prayers and sympathy are with you. Never anyone like a grandmother, I'm happy you had many years of good relationship to remember. This is a lovely tribute to her, and I love the way you ended it, for it is, just a so long for awhile.
Condolances, but think you have had her all these years, as my grandmom passed when I was but 12 or so years old...you have clearly stated to her here in this poem a wonderful farewell...you ARE loved! Ed & Rufuz
A wicked Cajun Fairy named Robes Pierre entered the impenetrable Magical doll land of Sha Bebe. Queen Faustina, the ruler of the doll land, thought she had destroyed him, but he's back! Will the doll land survive his evil ways?
Let this coming of age story of a boy named Bean take you back to a simple time. Set in a small southern town in the 1960's, encircled by a river and gleaming white cotton fields.
Take care,
Sherry
