 Fear Rides A Dark Villain

Panic grips my heart,
Fear rides a dark villain,
galloping across the deepness
and the recesses of my mind.
Tethered to the night I cling,
closed within these vacant walls,
void of any emotions;
vacuous mind and soul.
Glazed expressionless eyes,
stare blindly into a hollow,
then a searing sensation
upon my face I feel.

Are these what they call tears ?

A streaming course flows freely
drops splattering upon the pages,
where it stains and signs its name,
reminder for another time,
how this heart was scorched by flames!

Elga...this is very touching, but at the same time this is an intensely prolific write about the pain of loves bite...I throroughly enjoyed the image and the great verses...Fletcher B
