Light hearted and funny, I guess we all have our moments :) I hope you are able to appreciate the humour !!!!

The Pooterish Dandy!

The Pooterish Dandy
in his classy,
ritzy swanky garb,
did try and convey
to the young lady,
his highfalutin gift of gab,
grandiose and superior,
he thought he could charm
the brilliant attachment,
at the end of her arm,
a magnificent bracelet,
of golden so pure
with scintillating diamonds
a prism of light,
at first the young lady,
she did not protest,
until the shabby-genteel
did appear quite grotesque !
