This is in response to friend Georg's challenge to write about den member Rebecca Russel, before writing I went to her profile page and one of her writes was about someone accusing her of being a dreamer...if she is than I am guilty as well, hope you like Rebecca.

The Trial Against Rebecca Russel

By: Fee

Stand up and state your full name please

Said the judges to the lady fair

My name is Rebecca S. Russel and

Kind jury with you my story I will share

You see I was accused and stand to be judged

In my own defense I would like a say

Standing tall I now plead guilty as charged

I’ll serve the sentence , I’ll gladly pay

For the crime of dreaming I’ve been told

Of wishing things on a falling star at night

I’m convicted of seeing with my heart

Of putting pen to paper with insight

Of believing in elves and fairies and gnomes

Of finding sweet memories against the odds

Punish me if you will my friends

For seeing the sometimes folly of the Gods

You could imprison my body in a cell

Cut me off from all that I hold dear

So be it I’ll smile with shackled hands

For my words were meant to share…

I don't think I ever thanked you for this lovely tribute poem, Fee. I loved it then, I love it now. And I confess that in the time I was away not only had I allowed my copies of my precious tributes to be destroyed, but I had also forgotten how much I loved reading your work. I shan't forget again!

Much peace and love,
Rebecca (Russell) McKeehan (Still single, just a new name.)

Without hopes and dreams...what would be the reason to live...to start a new day? I'm guilty as well! Well written, Fee!

If Rebecca is guilty, she's going to have a lot of company myself included. Thank you, Fee. Love and peace,

Excellent write, Fee! Dreams are the thread that we weave into life's fabric, rich in color and dense in substance. We would all be sunk in black mire, if not for us dreamers!

I like how Rebecca writes, even though I don't always go to her page to comment; still, she is a great writer, and so are you, Fee! I stand guilty as charged: sentence me to a lifetime of writing, and I'll be happy! LOL (With no chance of parole! LOLOLOL) Well done, Fee; bravo!

(((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in Tx., Karen Lynn. :D

I think we need far more dreamers today, in so many ways,
Yet so many dreamers seem to be put on trial, today.

Dream On.

Fee,

Rebecca will love this, as do I. What do we have, if we don't have hopes and dreams? There would be no poets, that's for sure ... well done.

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.
