razor sharp incision

I guess I am jumping around the mind in my writes lately from Romance, to Halloween, to Christmas and now a Dark one...sorry I just write whatever comes to mind and something triggered this one in my mind and here it is...

razor sharp incision

by fee

razor sharp incision

blood-letting pain

intense heart destruction

love gone insane

bursting festered cysts

spewing discontent

hearts fouled by minds

a soul to re-invent

tear stained memory

grasped at happiness

slipped through fingers

unforgiving loneliness

dropping into oblivion

waters running deep

rising ever rising

teardrops that we weep

no band aid solution

of iodine and tape nor

time-tortured tradition

in a magician’s cape

time heals un-healable

hearts can revive

love equates with sorrow

living and alive

Fee I see that you have Halloween on your mind. I like Haloween too. So much to write about. I like this dark write as I always like doing them myself. It is a chance to let go .

I love the way your mind jumps around, because it's always so creating, weaving and spinning wonderful webs to snag our attention! This is very creative.

I'm the same way, Fee - my mind jumps from one topic to the next. It's more fun that way. I like this leap of yours to the dark side. That's twice already this month. Keep exploring! Hugs:)

I don't know, Fee, but this one speaks to me tonight. My mind and soul has been incised and left bleeding. When I thought it was apparent I was in pain, the knife came again. Maybe it's the period, maybe it's globalization. I don't know, but this poem spoke to me. ~ sara

If you gotta write a downer, you might as well get it all out at once, Felix. This poem is like a tumbling wall of all the heartaches of a lifetime...each brick, a memory we stashed away hoping to never see again. When it rains, it pours and the best we can hope for is a good cleansing when it is through or perhaps a rainbow. Good job, Felix.
Take care,
Sherry

There is sadness, almost to the point of dispair in this piece, but in these troubles times it is no wonder. Facing such uncertainty, the likes we have not experienced before can keep one awake at night, walking, pacing the floors....

Be always safe,
Karen
