Down with a flu bug and this is just my sulky write in a moment of almost clarity...

My Moaning…

By: Fee

Bundled up in blankets and Tylenol

Sitting close beside the fire

I couldn’t feel much worst you know

Then again maybe I’m a liar

For I still sit here thinking ‘bout you

Smiling as I sniffle and I whine

I know nothing would be bad as

If I thought that you weren’t mine

Your memory comes alive in me

Each time the pillow hits my head

I wish this fever that I’m feeling

Was you beside me in my bed

Sip soup and munch on cough drops

Hopefully I’ll be feeling better soon

Look at my watch one more time

I can’t believe it’s only noon

So I’ll close my eyes one more time

Try to ease the aching in my hips

Sneeze and smile as I start to dose off

Thinking of your lovely, luscious lips…

Kisses sweeter than honey

Honey from the hive

Make me glad that

I’m alive…

I wish

wish

ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

My goodness, Fee! Lol! Even on your sickbed you think in terms of sensuality. Well, hope you feel better soon, dear. The title is very misleading!(:

The flu will do that to you. Get plenty of rest, if that's possible and drink gallons of water that will make sure you have to get out of bed every now and then.

Love and nuturing are important building blocks of a relationship. The one whom loves you, loves you the deepest. The words are sweet and true. Feel better soon, and keep writing, it is a good form of medication for the soul.

(((long distance HUGS))), first because you're in Canada and second because you have the 'flu ... I'm sorry, Fee.

Loved the way you imaged this, especially the first line: sets the scene, immediately, and then the wish to be with a loved one ... what for, to give her the 'flu? To have her take care of you? Will you take care of her when she comes down with it? LOL (Just kidding.) An adorable write - take care. Hope you're better in time for the Bash!

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.
