Rape of the Willing Mind
on breeze of night she visits
succulent transparent shape
my smoke and mirror image
offered naked soul to rape
stripped heart vulnerability
love, hope, faith and trust
blindly led to the hour past
am I man of flesh and bone
or dwindling shadow cast…
hug
kathy
or dwindling shadow cast…
Indeed Fee, this is a very good question you raise in your chosen words. This poem really makes the reader think about our own mortality and what our purpose really is. Profound and surreal Fee, thank you for sharing.
May the Lord Bless you, and those whom you love, and be with you always, and walk by your side. With love in my heart, joy to the world, peace on earth, & ((((((((((MANY WONDERFUL SISTERLY HUGGGGSSSS)))))))))), your den sister Barbie
