At night I walk this deserted shore
Holding to the promise you once made
A vow tucked safely in my loving heart
Thru this icy surf I stumbling wade

There’s a silver sun on sky blue sea
Framing my last sweet memory of you
If need be I’ll wait a lifetime of tides
If that’s the price for your love true

I heard said a boundary can’t be crossed
To breach their world from sea to land
