I Have Seen the Sunshine By: Felix L. Perry I have seen the warmth of sunshine in your smile I have seen the cutting hurt of your falling tears I have seen your soul, rise on up to the sky I have seen your sad acceptance of the years I have seen the weight of storm clouds over you I have seen the hidden longing in your eyes I have seen the softest tenderness in your touch I have seen secret sad regrets in your sighs I have seen your pretense and your truth I have seen your strength to walk another mile Yes, I have seen the wonders of this earth I have seen the sunshine in your smile…

Great insight in seeing life through someone else's eyes.

Immediately I thought of, "Ain't no sunshine when you're gone." And, "Here comes the sun."

With a little twist this could be a fine song.
