Our Trust In Him

He is now the leader-elect of the land
he never faltered or cringed in fear
he set about his task sending a message
to those who would listen.
He is now the leader-elect of the country
that has no match in all the world
commander in chief he will soon be
sworn in on the steps of the capitol.
From very humble beginnings he took
the country by storm, talking to anyone
who would listen about his plan
to revitalize what has been torn down.
He has given the country new hope
that we can overcome our differences
and pull out of a very low slump
And with a vigorous energy
He said to an entire world watching:
"Yes we can." And this I believe
He is now the leader-elect of the people
who has put our trust in him.

for His safety which worries me
and for his vision of this country

I really believe in Obama
& I also believe in your poetic expression through your poem, he is a very impressive man & he holds presence in his wonderful demenor. I am really thrilled with positive perspectives & respect. I also worry about his safety from people harboring ignorance & deep set prejudices of self superiority... I really worry. He was given the most advanced security back in 2007....This Country Needs This Change

Written and thought out very well. I cannot believe how much controvery and different expressions about each candidate. That's what makes America great, we can say whatever we please. My God Bless our new president-elect, he has quite a mess to clean up!
