Can your life have meaning
day after day while dreaming
your life away with nothing to say
except in the airy thoughts of your mind?

Can you float through time
imagining all sorts of things
that you will never sing
under the deluge of falling stones?

Can you every day and all alone
bring back the magic that was
in your heart and mind
so many years ago but left forlorn?

Through the journey of life we see
all the people who hurry by
on a cold winter's night
with no particular place to be.

It seems to me, that people like we,
should take the time to see
all that mother nature has to give
that makes this world a better place to live.

And too, I feel that we should
help those in need if we could
and treat those we love with care
and also be our brother's keeper if we dare.
