My grand mother was Mary Ellen Murphy.
She was born near Dublin, and was the oldest of ten children. They came to the U.S. and settled in Hollyoke, Mass. She met my grandfather, Merton while walking in the park.
This poem is in honor of her and my Irish Ancestors. I am 37% Irish.
