Have you ever been the dune The body that’s formed when the silicates dance All separate parts becoming one until it is structure
There is definition in its design sloping up to the sky where it can kiss the God that created it
“I have purpose it says I block the waters from flooding the lands and stealing their nutrients I am the protector, the barrier to erosion”
It even thinks it has a sort of sentience Some would call it a soul Well at least that is what it would like to believe
Then the wind comes breaking the bonds holding it together, it now lives in the drift grains passing one another trying to congeal once again their destiny unknown. Shattered by something that can’t be seen, it loses direction, its purpose now a mystery ruled by the elements blinded in its journey as it blinds those it touches
Realization dawns “I am only sand, molecules of unborn swept in uncontrolled motion lost in the barren plains”
Some of it is captured in a glass prisons by the obsessive ones needing to measure time ironic really considering it is trapped within itself in forced form
Others are mere templates for footprints of those who walk hand in hand mocking it to remember when it was joined as the dune
Edward - you have out done yourself. This is a unique and remarkably imaged Poetic construct. I can also see an awesome analogy of life and the forces that come against it. Well done Poet.
Ed this is exceptional poetry! You have embraced this topic to the point of knowing it and giving us the benefit of what you have learned from it! Thank you. It's a splendid poem!
This book chronicles an infinite allegoric odyssey of Absolute Awakening in which a learned man, a mute man, and a recluse woman are the principal players. The mute and the recluse are the learned one's Teachers and Guides on his journey of Enlighten
This combined narrative dialogue and play is about the uncreated, unborn and undying transcendent Self of God-consciousness and Buddha-nature. It describes an odyssey of transcendent Consciousness Awakening and Remembrance.
Light and Wisdom ...
