i love the monkey turning red image, i picture that and then picture so many things going on that our ancestor's would have stood agape at, shaking their heads morosely. the balance is ever shifting, but, hopefully, it will swing back toward the light at some point. a wonderful, postmodern discourse regarding the process of deconstructing metanarrational institutions, in such a pop-culturish manner. great job!
Maria, this is just so true of what is going on today. It's true in the highest sense of the word. The few feast on cavier, whilst the third world suffers and starves in hovels of ignorance. And the calamity of this weary life is that no one has found happiness in this pursuit of everything that is vain and shallow. I know I am gushing a bit here, but your poem is very powerful. Thankyou, Ron
I have enjoyed every line of it.
This poem, "Postmodern World" makes my heart boil.
Yes, Poet... I sing with You: "Please, world... just stop and think!"
I thank You for taking the road to Justice.
May You live to see a planet where children will receive proper INSTRUCTION to understand Justice, and play happily.
