Dawn
Dawn breaks through
as fate stalks the beginning of the day
and like a sleek
elegant
ethereal
big-cat.
It watches.
Waiting for a chance moment
to pounce,
and change in a heartbeat,
an instant,
the course of your history.
I had to read this three times and I'm still walking away with my brow furrowed. You have definately stimulated a long, hard thought process within my tired brain. Congratulations. This is a wonderful poem.
