We can learn so much from all of our friends and relatives. Even the ones who hurt us the most.

"Don't do as I do; do what I SAY" my father once said to me. I thought to myself, “How foolish can he be?” As a child, I tried to mirror him to the tee. After he died my memory is mixture of sadness and glee. What did I learn from him as a child? I learned how NOT to be. Amen John Michael Domino, 3/28/17

This is very heavy John! We must be very careful what we tell our children, because are parents are our first teachers! In your case, your father whom you loved and adored! why would you want to imitate anybody else? Thank you, I love this write!
